Quotes...to shoot wrestling by...

The main page of my old website always had a quote(s) typed there that related in someway to taking wrestling photos or wrestling in general, these are my favorite:

"True wrestling is performed in second-rate halls, where the public spontaneously attunes itself to the spectacular nature of the contest."

From the 1957 essay "The World of Wrestling"

"Failure is unimportant - It takes courage to make a fool of yourself."

-Charlie Chaplin

"That's the rough and tumble, kid; the give and take of crowds. Once the curtain goes up, you never know what's going to happen."

"Mr Vertigo" by Paul Auster

"Be honest about what you see, get out of the way and let the story reveal itself."

-Anderson Cooper

Make them cry.  Make them laugh.  Make them mad, even mad at you.  Stir them up and they’ll love it, and come back for more, but, for heaven’s sake, don’t try to improve their minds.”

“All the King’s Men” (1949)

“Look, I'm not an intellectual - I just take pictures.”

-Helmut Newton
